Performing Arts

Our Performing Arts program provides students with a dynamic and immersive experience in theater and filmmaking. Designed to encourage creativity, collaboration, and self-expression, the program allows students to explore the arts in a supportive, all-girls environment that fosters both personal and artistic growth.

Theater Program

Our theater program is at the heart of the Performing Arts at Saint Saviour. With two major productions each year, students are given the opportunity to shine both on stage and behind the scenes. From acting and directing to costume and set design, students collaborate to bring incredible performances to life.

Each production offers roles both on and off stage, allowing students to participate in acting, stage management, lighting and sound design, and more. These performances not only showcase their hard work but also help students develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Filmmaking Program

The Filmmaking Program at Saint Saviour High School provides students with the opportunity to explore the art of visual storytelling, complementing the broader Performing Arts curriculum.

Through hands-on projects, students engage in every aspect of filmmaking, including screenwriting, storyboarding, cinematography, editing, and production design. They also analyze films and TV shows to understand the history and evolution of visual media, gaining insights into how storytelling techniques have developed over time.

The program culminates in a Short Film Festival, where students present their original films to the school community. This highly anticipated event showcases their creativity, hard work, and technical skills while celebrating the diverse voices and perspectives of Saint Saviour’s young filmmakers.

A Culture of Creativity

At Saint Saviour High School, the Performing Arts program is more than just an extracurricular activity—it’s a place where young women can express themselves, build lifelong skills, and discover their voices.

Whether performing on stage, working behind the camera, or collaborating on a production, students learn to embrace creativity and collaboration. Our program equips them with skills that extend far beyond the arts, preparing them to approach the world with confidence, creativity, and leadership.

Saint Saviour’s Performing Arts program is not just about creating art—it’s about building memories, forging friendships, and finding your place in a vibrant and supportive community.
