The Saviour Sisterhood,
A 100 Year Legacy & Counting
At St. Saviour High School we reflect on a transformative chapter that began in 1917 on 6th Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Our time within these walls was marked by a unique blend of academic rigor, spiritual growth, and heartfelt camaraderie. The traditions we embraced then continue to shape our collective identity as alumnae, creating memories that have bonded us for a lifetime.

The shared experiences of our youth—from spirited assemblies and reflective prayer sessions to annual celebrations that lit up our school calendar—are the cornerstones of our sisterhood. These
traditions were not merely events; they were the rituals that united us as a family and instilled in us the values of service, compassion, and unity, all of which have carried over into our lives as grown women.

As we journey through life, the laughter, tears, and quiet moments of reflection we experienced together remain deeply etched in our hearts. No matter where our paths have taken us, the legacy of St. Saviour continues to guide us, reminding us of the strength we draw from our shared history and the unbreakable bonds formed on that historic campus.

Our reunions and alumni gatherings are treasured opportunities to reconnect, reminisce, and honor the traditions that made our school experience so special. These moments not only evoke cherished memories but also reinforce our enduring commitment to one another as members of the Saviour family, ever ready to support and uplift each other.

Looking back on our formative years at St. Saviour, we celebrate a legacy that spans over a century—a legacy of faith, shared traditions, and a deep, lifelong sisterhood. As alumnae, we are forever connected by the memories of our time in Park Slope, and this bond continues to inspire and guide us every day.

Saint Saviour is something different to each student, to some it's a noisy corridor and messy lockers, doing two hours of homework at 8:10 AM, a maroon and white wardrobe... and last game tears. To others it is three meetings all scheduled at 2:20 PM, a coke in between classes, the long awaited Christmas Dance with no prospect of a date, song contest, tutoring, a trip to Washington and senior rings
...But to all it is a place where a girl can recieve not only a diploma but an education, where religion is more than just another subject to study, and where the true meaning of "friend" is understood and realized by all"
