Spiritual Life
Our vibrant faith community here at St. Saviour High School participates in regularly scheduled liturgies, penance services, and prayer experiences that unite us in worship and reflection. These gatherings provide us with meaningful opportunities to deepen our spiritual lives and grow together as a community of faith.

Students play an active role in nurturing this environment by planning, conducting, and assisting with the work of Campus Ministry. They serve in a variety of roles—as Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, altar servers, prayer leaders, and Campus Ministry representatives—gaining valuable leadership experience while deepening their understanding of our faith traditions. Through their dedication and service, our students not only enrich their own spiritual journey but also contribute to the strength and vibrancy of our entire community.
Campus Ministry
At St. Saviour High School, Campus Ministry is a vibrant community that supports, challenges, and nourishes the spiritual growth of both students and faculty. Our ministry offers a variety of opportunities for individuals to deepen their faith and engage in meaningful spiritual development. Regularly scheduled liturgies, penance services, and prayer experiences form the backbone of our communal worship, providing a space for reflection and connection with God.

Students play an active role in shaping our Campus Ministry. They are encouraged to plan, conduct, and assist in all aspects of our ministry’s work—serving as Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, altar servers, prayer leaders, and Campus Ministry representatives. Through these roles, students gain practical experience in leadership

and service, while deepening their understanding of the faith
traditions that guide our community.
Our goal is to create an atmosphere where every student can discover and cultivate their God-given gifts. We believe that true faith is not only learned but lived out through actions. By actively participating in Campus Ministry, students are challenged to integrate their faith into every aspect of their lives and to extend that faith through service to others. We expect each student to generously share their time, treasure, and talent, fostering a spirit of compassion and commitment that extends well beyond the classroom.
In essence, Campus Ministry at St. Saviour High School is more than an extracurricular activity—it is a transformative journey that equips our students to become thoughtful, service-oriented leaders who live out their faith in tangible ways every day.
Retreats
An important component of the spiritual life of our students is our four-year retreat program, designed to foster personal growth, reflection, and a deeper connection to faith. Each class year participates in a retreat during the school year—whether held on-campus or at inspiring off-site locations—providing a dedicated time for spiritual renewal away from the regular academic routine. These retreats offer a blend of guided discussions, prayer sessions, and opportunities for personal reflection and community service. They are thoughtfully structured to encourage open dialogue about faith, support individual spiritual journeys, and build lasting bonds among students. Through this annual retreat experience, students gain valuable insights into their own beliefs and values, strengthening their capacity to live out their faith in both their academic pursuits and everyday life.
